Scottish Autumn Tour 2024 (2 - 22 September)
ABERDEEN; BANCHORY; SKYE; MULL; IONA; HARRIS; STORNOWAY AND FINDHORN
Hebridean Treasure: Lost & Found captivatingly blends song, dance and storytelling with live Scottish and South Asian music to conjure up the ancient landscapes of the Scottish Isles and the inhabitant’s deep connection with the rhythms of nature.
The words of John Philip Newell, artistic direction by Shane Shambu, and the music of critically-acclaimed composer and Gaelic singer Mischa Macpherson weave around the compelling performance of Bharatanatyam dancer Kirsten Newell. She embodies the spirit of nature as she brings to life the stories, laments, love songs and blessings, uncovering the shared wisdom and connection to the earth of India and the Celtic world. We invite you into a world that was once lost, but is being found again.
